Deep Focus App Blocker  ·  by TBTechs

Use FocusFlow as a focus tool, not a safety-critical system.

These Terms may be changed, amended, or replaced at any time without prior notice. Continued use after any change constitutes your immediate acceptance of the updated Terms. You are solely responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically. The latest version is always available at this URL.

1. Acceptance

By installing, downloading, running, or using FocusFlow for Windows, you unconditionally agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, uninstall the application immediately.

2. What FocusFlow Does

FocusFlow for Windows provides:

All enforcement is performed locally on your Windows device and is subject to OS, hardware, software, and privilege-level limitations beyond FocusFlow's control.

3. Your Sole Responsibility

You are solely and exclusively responsible for all consequences of configuring, enabling, disabling, or using any feature of FocusFlow — including the Focus Launcher, app blocking, network blocking, Nuclear Mode, session PIN, and all related enforcement features. FocusFlow and TBTechs bear absolutely no responsibility for missed communications, missed alarms, missed appointments, financial losses, loss of productivity, data loss, or any other outcome arising from the use or failure of any FocusFlow feature. Use of FocusFlow is entirely at your own risk.

In particular: the Focus Launcher hides your Windows taskbar and activates blocking enforcement. You are responsible for ensuring that all essential work is complete, all important communications are handled, and all necessary applications are accessible before starting a Focus Launcher session.

4. Emergency Access Disclaimer

FocusFlow makes NO guarantee that emergency services (911, 112, 999, or any equivalent), emergency communications, or safety-critical applications will be reachable or unaffected during any active Focus Launcher session, blocking session, Nuclear Mode session, or any other FocusFlow enforcement state. Windows OS behaviour, OEM hardware configurations, system state, or software interactions may affect application availability in ways that cannot be predicted or controlled. TBTechs is not liable under any legal theory for any failure to access emergency services or safety-critical systems while FocusFlow is installed or active. DO NOT use FocusFlow in any safety-critical, medical, or emergency context.

5. Focus Launcher — Taskbar and Desktop Control

The Focus Launcher feature hides the Windows taskbar during kiosk sessions using the Win32 ShowWindow API on the Shell_TrayWnd handle. While multiple safety mechanisms restore the taskbar on session end, normal app exit, JVM shutdown, and crash recovery, no software guarantee is absolute. By using the Focus Launcher, you acknowledge that:

6. runFullTrust Capability

The Microsoft Store version of FocusFlow is packaged as an MSIX application declaring the runFullTrust restricted capability. This is required to enumerate running Windows processes, terminate blocked application windows, manage Windows Firewall rules, and control the Windows taskbar during Focus Launcher sessions. By using the app, you acknowledge and accept that FocusFlow operates with this elevated Windows trust level for the sole purpose of focus enforcement as described in these Terms and in the Privacy Policy.

7. No Warranty

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: FocusFlow is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. TBTechs explicitly disclaims any warranty that the app will function correctly on your device, Windows version, hardware configuration, or in the presence of third-party software. Blocking may fail at any time for any reason, including Windows updates, permission changes, antivirus interference, system resource constraints, or other software conflicts. The Focus Launcher's taskbar restoration safety mechanisms may fail in extreme crash scenarios.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: TBTechs, its affiliates, officers, developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any damages of any kind — including direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages — arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use FocusFlow, regardless of the legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The aggregate total liability of TBTechs for any and all claims shall not exceed zero (USD $0).

9. Acceptable Use

10. Termination

You may stop using FocusFlow at any time by uninstalling it through Windows Settings → Apps. TBTechs reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue the application at any time without notice. These Terms survive termination with respect to all provisions that by their nature should survive.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FocusFlow shall be resolved in accordance with applicable local law. You agree that TBTechs shall not be subject to class action proceedings.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated, replaced, or removed at any time without prior notice. Updated Terms are effective immediately upon posting at this URL. Continued use of FocusFlow constitutes your acceptance of the current Terms.
