Terms of Service

Use FocusFlow as a focus tool, not a safety-critical system.

These terms explain the rules and limitations for using FocusFlow, an Android app that helps you block distracting apps and manage focus sessions.

Last updated: April 11, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By installing, building, or using FocusFlow, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What FocusFlow does

FocusFlow provides scheduling, reminders, focus sessions, standalone app blocking, daily allowances, blocked-word enforcement, overlays, notifications, and optional aversion deterrents to help reduce distractions on Android devices.

Permissions and device settings

FocusFlow depends on Android permissions such as Accessibility Service, Usage Stats Access, Appear on Top, notifications, foreground service behavior, and related system capabilities. You are responsible for deciding whether to grant these permissions. Some features will not work if required permissions are disabled.

No guarantee of perfect blocking

FocusFlow attempts to enforce app blocking at the OS level, but Android versions, manufacturer settings, battery restrictions, permission changes, system updates, accessibility behavior, or other apps may affect enforcement. FocusFlow is provided as a productivity tool and does not guarantee uninterrupted or perfect blocking.

Acceptable use

Your responsibility

You are responsible for your tasks, schedules, blocked app choices, allowance settings, overlay settings, aversion settings, and any consequences of restricting access to apps on your device. Keep access available for emergency, medical, work, navigation, banking, or communication apps when needed.

Open source software

FocusFlow is distributed through its GitHub repository at github.com/TITANICBHAI/focusflow-android. Any applicable open-source license terms for the project and dependencies also apply.

Disclaimer

FocusFlow is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. The app is not a medical, mental health, security, parental control, compliance, or emergency service product.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the FocusFlow maintainers are not liable for lost productivity, missed notifications, blocked app access, data loss, device issues, or other damages arising from use of the app.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as FocusFlow changes. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised terms.
